EmpoweRUN was a run held on March 21, 2026, to celebrate National Women's Month in Roxas City. JCI Roxas Halaran teamed up with the Roxas Component City Police Station and CAG-PTD to mark the month the way the chapter knows best: through movement and service.
The chapter's part
JCI Roxas Halaran took part as a partner. After the miles were clocked, the chapter's Hot Meals on Wheels was on standby to serve the participants a warm meal. As the chapter put it, a stronger community starts with empowered women and a warm meal.
Women's Month at the chapter
JCI Roxas Halaran is an all-male chapter, and it uses March to show that men can stand up for women's empowerment. In March 2025 it held Juan Cares for Juana, a symposium where men's organizations spoke on men's role in women's empowerment. In 2026 it also co-hosted Purple Hour with JCI Roxas Makawiwili, an awarding event honoring women in different fields. The next month, it partnered on the solo parents' celebration in Maayon.
The chapter's Facebook post does not give the route, the venue or the number of runners. If you ran and have photos or details, please message the chapter so this page can be completed.
