The IPBC T10 Invitational Basketball League 2026 was a basketball league built on one idea: a space where everyone gets to play, connect and be part of the game. "T10" stands for Target 10 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Reduced Inequalities. The league was billed as "True Deaf inclusivity in motion."
Who ran it
JCI Roxas Halaran co-organized the league with JCI Regatta - Iloilo and the Iloilo Pabalhas Basketball Club (IPBC), as part of the chapter's Camp Pag-Ibig 2026. Project Chairperson was James Paul Grandeza. Earlier, during JCI Week 2026, the same partners ran "Silence in the Court", a twinning project with a Deaf basketball scrimmage and training in basic sign language.
The season
- Opening day was first announced for July 4 and tipped off on July 11, 2026 at Eternity City Arena.
- Teams were split into Bracket A and Bracket B.
- From the first week of August, the league ran four matchups a night on three to four game days a week.
- The semi-finals were SMAT Basketball vs RJR Sublimation and Aquasurextakusa vs SRF.
- An exhibition game and the championship closed the league on September 6, 2026.
Soundtrack
The highlight reels were set to tracks from "No Subtitles", an EP made by JCI Roxas Halaran with IPBC through the lens of sign-language communication. It is part of the chapter's HALAD AUDIO LAB.
The chapter thanks all participating teams, sponsors and supporters, and congratulates Project Chairperson James Paul Grandeza.
