The Capiz Love Run 2026 was a Valentine's Day run held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Robinsons Roxas, Pueblo de Panay. JCI Roxas Halaran teamed up with Run Capiz and Cong Tulong to support the local athletes who ran.
The run
Runners chose 5K or 10K routes, with gun start at 4:30 AM for the 10K and 4:40 AM for the 5K. Registration included an official singlet, an acrylic medal, a race bib, a raffle entry and hydration stations. On-site registration was PHP 550 at Baia Cafe on Roxas Avenue, and the raffle included a motorcycle giveaway.
The chapter's invitation was playful: whether you are running toward love, away from it, or just for the medal, there was a spot for you.
The chapter's role
JCI Roxas Halaran was a partner, not the race organizer. Members helped with coordination, led a Zumba session and served lugaw to give runners energy. The chapter's message afterwards: let us keep striving to be healthier versions of ourselves.
What followed
The partnership with Run Capiz kept going. In June 2026, the chapter and Run Capiz held the HalaRUN for Juan community run for Men's Mental Health Month, with over 600 runners. The chapter also supported Run Capiz's Kidney Awareness Run that month, with Hot Meals on Wheels and a post-run Zumba class.
